Star Spangled Smiles was founded on the belief that patients deserve more than excellent clinical care — they deserve to feel heard, respected, and confident in every decision about their health.
Co-founded by Dr. Manpreet Kaur and her husband, Gurmehar Singh, a U.S. Army veteran, Star Spangled Smiles was built on a shared vision to bring exceptional care, genuine service, and community together.
Service has always been at the heart of Star Spangled Smiles. Before founding the practice, Gurmehar Singh served as a U.S. Army Medical Service Corps Officer, supporting the Army Medical Department across medical, dental, and veterinary missions. His contributions were recognized with the Army Commendation Medal.
Following his retirement from military service, Gurmehar continued serving the nation through work supporting America's defense capabilities and national security.
These experiences shaped the principles behind Star Spangled Smiles: integrity, respect, accountability, attention to detail, and service to others. These aren't simply words on a wall — they're standards we strive to uphold throughout every part of the patient experience.

Our Mission
Giving Back to the Community & Country
We proudly support Undaunted Warhorse Initiative, a Lavon based nonprofit helping veterans through difficult transitions, including housing instability, through transitional housing support.
For every new patient who visits Star Spangled Smiles, we contribute to support veterans in need.
Beyond charitable giving, we're committed to making dental care more accessible to the veteran community. Star Spangled Smiles offers discounted dental membership plans for veterans, National Guard and Reserve members without dental insurance, and their immediate family members, including parents, spouses, and children.
